Engaged Autonomy is a 24-page strategic plan, the outcome of a two-month research and writing residency at Motel Spatie in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
It contextualized, distilled and clarified the mission and vision of the experimental initiative, as well as provided a format in which their ideas and accomplishments could be communicated to official bodies. It was produced in time to be submitted as part of a funding application, resulting in Motel Spatie being awarded a 4-year long municipal grant, the only initiative in the city to have achieved such support that year.
